I am a Des Moines native. Confluence beer runs through my veins like that of the Des Moines river.

I am an account manager for Holmes Murphy by day and I am a yoga-enthusiast, book reading, dog-loving runner by night. You can generally find me at a local restaurant with friends or hanging outside.
How long have you been an Active Crew member?
I worked at Active Endeavors in Iowa City for about two years, and joined the Active Crew in Des Moines about three months ago.
What is your favorite part about working at AE?
I enjoy meeting the people that walk through our doors and learning about their adventures.
What type of gear do you like talking about the most?
Jackets.
What are you most excited about from our Spring/Summer collection?
Chacos.
What is your favorite activity to do outside?
Tie between biking and hiking

Best trip you’ve taken to date? Anything cool coming up?
I spent a week sailing in the Caribbean. It was a hard trip to come back from. In a few weeks, I am heading to La Crosse, WI for some trails, canoeing, and cheese curds.
If you were stranded in the wild - what 3 pieces of gear would you want with you?
A book for sanity, a jacket for warmth, and a hammock for comfort.
