Kiley Cutler

I was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. While as a kid I liked the occasional bike ride or a night of camping with my parents, I never would have claimed to be outdoorsy or athletic. I was more of a girly girl, and my favorite things to do never involved anything that would make me sweaty or dirty!
Fast forward to my late twenties when I met my now husband, and from day 1 he asked me to go on all sorts of adventures with him that no one had ever asked me to join them for – climbing trips to Utah, deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, camping in places that didn’t have any sort of modern amenities! While I’d previously considered myself only a city and beach-loving girl who preferred vacations of the relaxing kind, I quickly began to love the thrill of trying new things, seeing new places, and spending time outside in beautiful remote areas. I still love a vacation with a gorgeous hotel, shopping, and sunning, but I also appreciate just as much traveling to a barely touched area of the country where we cook simple meals around a campfire and crawl in bed exhausted from spending the entire day outside pushing ourselves physically.
I’m also into wellness and clean eating – so much so that I started my own business, The Cutler Kitchen, in which I whip up good-for-you treats that are all made without any refined sugar or flour. I love showing people how when you eat good, you feel good!
In my free time, I love a great yoga class, camping in our little teardrop trailer, spending time with our 3 backyard chickens, coming up with new healthy recipes, and documenting my travels and favorite things on my blog, Finest Thing.
